FOR VETERANS

The Man O’ War Project is currently conducting clinical trials to test the effectiveness of equine-assisted therapy (EAT) in the treatment of military veterans with PTSD.

If you would like to learn more about our study, please fill out the contact form below.

  • Free transportation is provided to the Bergen Equestrian Center in northern New Jersey
  • Participation is free of charge
  • Participating veterans are paid for completing an evaluation survey and gifted a pair of boots
  • There are no medications involved
  • Sessions run 90 minutes, once weekly, for 8 weeks
  • Veterans may participate regardless of eligibility for VA benefits or discharge status
  • The Man O’ War Project is entirely independent of the VA. No information is shared with the VA
