WHO WE ARE

The Man O’ War Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supports leading researchers at Columbia University Medical Center and other experts in the field of PTSD treatment, psychiatry, mental health and equine therapy.

The Hon. Earle I. Mack, Founder

Ambassador Mack is the visionary founder of the Man O’ War Project. His distinguished career spans business, military service, philanthropy and horseracing. Mr. Mack served as Ambassador to Finland under President George W. Bush, and he has been a leader in horseracing and racehorse aftercare.

Prudence Fisher, Ph.D., Co-Director

Dr. Prudence Fisher is Co-Director for research with the Man O’ War Project. She is Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatric Social Work (in Psychiatry) at Columbia University Medical Center and Research Scientist at the New York State Psychiatric Institute (Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry).

Yuval Neria, Ph.D., Co-Director

Dr. Yuval Neria is Co-Director for research with the Man O’ War Project. A military veteran, he is Professor of Medical Psychology at Columbia University Medical Center and Director of Trauma and PTSD at the New York State Psychiatric Institute.
